flooring of the kiln. i recently placed the two small bricks in front
of the draft area to try and bring more draft and soda to the back of
the kiln.
The
damper set up. I used 1" shelving to form the space and then 3/4"
shelving for the damper. It is best to use high alumina or mullite shelves
rather than silicon carbide as the carbide shelves are not too good with
rapid thermo-shock.
